Project Description
Groundwater treatment facilities remove pollutants from the groundwater making it safe for human consumption. This new facility is a pre-engineered building covering 2,000 SF with 20 FT ceilings.
A concrete foundation was poured creating a slab on grade. The steel skeleton was then erected and interior systems were added: electric, HVAC, plumbing and fire protection. An array of complicated mechanical devices (which perform the water treatment work) and the instruments which control them were the final piece of the project.
When not manned by its regular crew, this facility can be monitored remotely.
