Eva’s Village - Social Enterprise Teaching / Training Kitchen

Oct 17, 2014

RCC Builders & Developers, Inc. is in the final stages of completing a 3,300 SF training / teaching kitchen for Eva’s Village in Paterson, NJ.  Located in a previously unoccupied space beneath a 51 unit apartment building, this fully stocked commercial kitchen will educate and train students interested in entering a culinary vocation.  Floor, wall, ceiling finishes, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and plumbing will also undergo significant upgrades.

All work was scheduled so as to have minimal impact on the normal activities of the apartment occupants.  Construction started this past spring and is anticipated to be completed by mid-summer 2014.  Final installations will include all drywall partitions, tile work in two new restrooms, acoustical ceilings throughout, 2,400 SF of quarry tile and base, and 900 SF of vinyl composition tile and base.
